Iron Man Wants YOU To Get Your Pneumonia Vaccines
This is Iron Man.
AKA Tony Stark AKA Robert Downey Jr.
Iron Man has an arc reactor in his chest that opens him up to numerous infections, one of them being pneumonia.

Because Iron Man has a chronic health condition, and is between the ages of 19 and 64, he is at a high risk for pneumonia, and should be getting his pneumonia vaccine(s).
The first vaccine Iron Man should get is the Prevnar 13, also known as the PCV13, which contains 13 types of pneumococcus, a bacteria that can cause deadly diseases like pneumonia and meningitis. Iron Man should only get this vaccine if he has never gotten it before.
One year after receiving the PCV13, Iron Man should go back to his pharmacist or doctor to get the Pneumovax 23, also known as the PPSV23. This vaccine contains 23 types of pneumococcus, 12 of which are different from the PCV13.
It’s important that Iron Man get both vaccines, because his body’s immune system reacts differently to each, and getting both vaccines is the best way to keep him healthy and strong.
After Iron Man turns 65, he’s going to have to repeat these vaccine(s) to ensure that his immune system is still able to fight off pneumococcal infections.
Be like Iron Man. If you have a chronic health condition, including, but not limited to, asthma, COPD, heart disease, diabetes, and HIV, or if you’re a healthy person over the age of 65, go ask your pharmacist or doctor how you can get protection from pneumonia TODAY.
